About the role

About this role:

As (Sr.) Principal Process Engineer you will not only ensure process capability and stability but you will also be responsible to expand and improve lithography processes.

This is your new job:

  • Expansion of existing lithography processes from ASML PAS Stepper to ASML Twinscan Scanner incl. establishment and release of suitable Mix&Match strategies

  • Creation and release of fully automated and throughput-optimized cluster flows (coating, exposure, development, inspection) including associated data processing

  • Manage improvement projects with regards to CIP, OEE and cost saving self-dependently

  • Provide technical guidance to other engineers and technologists in the field of lithography

  • Ensuring technological process capability and process stability using SPC and self-dependent implementation of measures derived from this

  • Self-dependent processing of non-conforming lots as well as identification and processing of process-related defects and quality weaknesses

  • Technological evaluation of new process modules and participation in their release via ICR

  • Participation in selection, testing, implementation and release of new/additional equipment and process media

  • Self-dependent creation of necessary instructions (e.g. work instructions, training plans, OCAPs, etc.) and implementation of appropriate training measures

  • Collaboration in the creation of process step and equipment FMEAs

This is you:

  • Masters Degree or Diploma in natural sciences, PhD is desirable

  • Min.5 years professional experience in semiconductor technology, especially with scanner lithography is required

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills

  • Team-oriented way of working and very good communication skills

  • Planning and organizational skills

  • Creativity and assertiveness

  • Business fluent in both written and oral German and English
