MIV Program Manager

Endress+Hauser’s MIV (main instrumentation vendor) program was created with the vision of bringing Endress+Hauser’s unique expertise around instrumentation and project lifecycles to create value and provide a world-class experience for our clients. The MIV program accomplishes through reducing the number of client touch points, promoting project consistency, increasing visibility on project progress, and quickly pivoting to meet our client’s need during project execution. We aim not just to execute but drive the client’s project schedule and reduce nonconformances that could delay startup of their projects. The areas in which we provide these value-added services include: 

• Engineering

• Warehousing and inspections 
• Site startup support 

Role + Responsibilities  

• Proactive transitioning of MIV projects from Sales into Execution Implementation of processes, tools and resources (physical and human); ensure quick order confirmations for MIV services 
• Lead activities to set up MIV execution teams within the matrix organization as cross functional teams, along with the established processes 
• Develop implementation strategy at Endress+Hauser and our representatives to deliver new MIV services and standardized 3rd party products 
• Create custom MIV project execution plans related to MIV quotations by the sales team, to prepare for execution on time and within/ under budget, as well as ensuring that the agreed project objectives are achieved (scope/quality, time/schedule, cost/resources) 
• Communicate Endress+Hauser’s MIV capabilities as part of Sales support (e.g. through quotation and proposal content support) to increase chances of winning additional MIV scope 
• Support set up of MIV customer contracts, including T/C review with special competence in 3rd party and MIV Service scope 
• Support strategic development of process & resource concept for MIV execution for Endress+Hauser USA and involved Representatives 
• Act as the MIV project business champion as it relates to internal and external communications as well as training of our teams 
• Identify and mitigate risk per defined project management practices 
• Act as a customer liaison throughout project execution, engaging to connect the customer with the subject matter experts within Endress+Hauser and our partners and suppliers 
• Lead the development of standard MIV project reports for internal and external use 
• Plan and monitor strategic MIV business including tracking of MIV project opportunities within Sales pipeline as well as in Execution

• Bachelor’s degree in any field of study; technical field preferred
