Legal and Compliance Project Manager - Data Products

About your role:

As an experienced Project Manager for Data Commerce Solutions, you will lead end-to-end execution of our commercial and non-commercial legal contract processes and associated compliance activities. You will manage contract workflow governance, cross-functional coordination, process controls, and reporting to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes and adherence to policy and regulatory expectations. You will also oversee the Enterprise Data Use (DUC) program, partnering with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Privacy, Security, and business stakeholders to drive consistent intake, review, approvals, and audit readiness.

What you'll do:

  • Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle (intake, review, negotiation support, approvals, signature, storage, and renewal/termination handoffs) for commercial and non-commercial agreements.
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders (Legal, Procurement, Sales, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Privacy, Security, and business owners) to meet execution timelines and maintain contract process governance for status and issue management.
  • Standardize and continuously improve contract operations and produce stakeholder communications, dashboards, and leadership readouts to support transparency and decision-making.
  • Support tooling and workflow optimization for contract and intake processes (ie, contract lifecycle management systems and work management tools).
  • Lead program execution, maintain program documentation and evidence and define and track KPIs and Key Risk indicators for the Enterprise Data Use Committee (DUC)
  • Coordinate audit and compliance activities for the business unit, including evidence collection, control testing support, remediation tracking, and closure.
  • Track corrective action plans and ensure sustainable implementation and validation of remediation activities.

Experience you'll need to have:

  • 10+ years of project or program management experience leading cross-functional operational processes involving Legal, Compliance, Risk, Privacy, Security, Procurement, Finance, or Sales.
  • 6+ years of experience managing contract lifecycle workflows (commercial and non-commercial) and driving process governance, metrics, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience supporting compliance/risk programs and audit readiness (evidence management, remediation tracking, and control documentation).
  • 4+ years of experience with stakeholder management, creating and delivering executive-ready communications, dashboards, and status reporting.
  • Experience using project and work management tools (for example, Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar) within structured governance cadences.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, law, information systems, risk management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience.

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Experience with contract lifecycle management and intake or workflow tools (for example, Icertis, Sirion, Agiloft, ServiceNow, Coupa) and process automation.
  • Familiarity with data governance and data use approval models in regulated environments.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) and or Agile certifications.
  • Experience in financial services, payments, or other similarly regulated industries.

How you'll work:

  • This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experience helps you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
  • This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.

Sponsorship:

  • You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. Individuals with temporary visas including, but not limited to, F-1 (OPT, CPT, STEM), H-1B, H-2, or TN, or any candidate requiring sponsorship, now or in the future, will not be considered for this role.
