This is a critical role that further establishes Volta Media's/Shell Recharge's presence in Detroit. With GM, Ford, and Stellantis all having significant EV plans for the near and long-term future, it’s important we are in lockstep with the Big Three. Strategic selling will be key in this role.
In your first 90 days, you will:
Demonstrate mastery of the Volta Media Value Proposition in conversations with key stakeholders
Utilize existing relationships and contacts to further penetrate Detroit’s “Big Three” (Stellantis, GM, Ford) and their respective agencies
Advance conversations that will contribute to increased share on media buys
Have strategic partnerships conversations beyond media (ex: experiential, charge for charging, Shell e-mobility, etc.)
After twelve months, you will have accomplished:
Strong direct client and agency relationships and consistent conversations with all OEM’s in the region
Involvement in every EV launch/sustain campaign, as well as multiple “always-on” sponsorships and non-EV campaigns
Lead and contribute to strategic partnerships at the OEM level as it pertains to experiential, charge for charging, Shell e-mobility, etc.
Achieve quarterly revenue goals
What you bring to Volta Media/Shell Recharge:
Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S
Bachelor’s degree is required
5+ years of media sales experience (digital experience is a plus)
You bring a wealth of experience and knowledge in the Automotive Media sales space
A network of automotive contacts at the client and strategy/buying agency levels
Strategic selling approach and expertise
Demonstrate enthusiasm, energy, and relentlessness

Note: This role is a remote position based in the US
The base salary range for this position is $122,000.00 - $182,000.00 per year. Individual pay will be based on various factors, such as relevant work experience, education, certifications, skill level, seniority, and internal equity.
For regular full-time or regular part-time employees of the Company (participating companies as listed in the Summary Plan Description), insurance coverage options include medical, dental, vision coverage, life Insurance, Business Travel Accident Insurance, and Occupational Accidental Death Benefit programs. Employees also participate in a company pension plan and a 401(k) plan. Paid leave includes up to 3 weeks of paid vacation time, up to 11 paid holidays, and parental leave offering 16 weeks of paid leave to birthing mothers, and 8 weeks of paid leave for non-birthing parents.
Additionally, employees are eligible for disability leave for up to 52 weeks at 100% or 50% of base pay. Shell also offers other compensation such financial reimbursement for adoption, wellness, education, and personal learning expenses, and some roles are eligible for discretionary long-term incentives. For interns, eligible benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, Business Travel Accident Insurance, and Occupational Accidental Death Benefit programs; participation in a 401(k) plan; and paid leave for up to 11 paid holidays.
