As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be primarily responsible for verifying vendor invoices for payment. The position requires verbal and written communication to vendors, superintendents, and other personnel regarding requests on the status of various payments.

Requirements

• Process invoices and payments in a timely manner in accordance with company standards.
• Properly code invoices and obtain appropriate supporting documents with approval.
• Research past due amounts, interface with vendors, and resolve billing errors.
• Research invoice and purchase order discrepancies.
• Process weekly check runs and verify information on checks.
• File all documents timely and in accordance with company procedures.

Our ideal candidate is a customer-focused individual passionate about the homebuilding industry. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with preference given to candidates holding a bachelor's degree. You should have 1-2 years of Accounts Payable experience and excellent verbal and written communication skills. This is an hourly role paying $21 to $24 per hour depending on experience.
