The Opportunity

Our Sr. Live Broadcast Graphics Specialist acts as the technical lead and subject matter expert for the Live Graphics Team. You will work with multiple business groups ensuring consistency and accuracy of product data displayed during live and off-line productions. This role requires you to utilize data source research tools and procedural knowledge base when reviewing planned product presentations to make entries into data sources, identify potential issues, and escalate discrepancies following through to resolution. This role also builds and programs display graphic elements supporting live and off-line productions, utilizing live graphic as well as pre/post-production software design tools, and adhering to brand and design direction. 

Your Impact

• You will utilizes appropriate software and QVC’s request fulfillment system (Media Pulse) to prioritize, create, and document fulfillment of requests for graphic elements supporting live production presentations and promotions.  Create graphics for off-line and post-production presentations where applicable.

• You will provide feedback to relevant business groups in developing the best approach to achieve presentation goals with regards to graphic element requests.   Provide feedback to requests in regard to brand and design direction

• Review all scheduled products and shows utilizing corporate provided data sources and relevant applications, ensuring accuracy of all television displayed graphics. 

• Validates data surrounding product description, pricing, promotions, retail value descriptions, retail values, and retail value comparisons.

• Makes adjustments or entries to data elements where possible, escalating discrepancies through appropriate business groups, following through to resolution.

• You are accountable for the creation and maintenance of technical documentation regarding workflow, process, and procedures. 

What You Bring

• Completion of trade or technical program in television production, graphic design, or equivalent professional experience.

• 4+ years of experience as graphics assistant or production artist, preferably for television

• Live graphics design of template-based compositions to achieve presentation goals

• Intermediate knowledge of software design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud suite of applications.  Advanced knowledge of features in photoshop, and the ability to develop and train.

• Intermediate knowledge of live graphics software design and development tools such as VizRT, Ross XPression, or Chyron Lyric.  Working knowledge of how to program software, as well as train others.
