<p> </p> <p>Purpose &amp; Overall Relevance for the Organization:</p> <p> </p> <p>The general purpose is to be a financial consultant to Global Sales/Wholesale by giving recommendations to enable and drive fact-based decision-making. This position supports and steers the business to achieve (financial) targets as well as the strategy based on the analysis of number indicator. </p> <p>Together as an integrated Sales &amp; Market Finance organization we provide our commercial business partner, Global WHS, with one shared view for strategic and financial decision making.</p> <p> </p> <p>Key responsibilities:<br/>  </p> <p>Business Partnering: </p> <ul> <li>Act as the financial business partner for SVP Global Sales and Marketplace and the Global Wholesale team</li> <li>Enable fact-based decision making by creating transparency on financial performance of Wholesale</li> <li>Perform in-depths analysis and provide recommendations to senior management on risk and opportunities in reaching the financial ambitions </li> <li>Execute and develop standardized reporting and ad hoc analysis </li> <li>Lead/ participate in medium sized projects, implement findings and ensure sustainability of achievements</li> <li>Develop and implement adequate communication packages to present analytical results, recommendations and solutions</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Innovation &amp; Strategy: </p> <ul> <li>Create new and improved working methods for entire processes and systems </li> <li>Design, develop and implement state of the art analytic tools </li> <li>Develop new processes, standards or operational plans and deliver results with direct impact on the department and overall targets</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>Reporting, Analysis &amp; Expertise: </p> <ul> <li>Drive WHS P&amp;L enhancement, portfolio management, distribution strategy by providing business insights (incl. establish reporting &amp; analytical frameworks) to drive profitable and sustainable business growth</li> <li>Ensure that WHS standardized reporting and ad hoc analysis is consistent with the Sales Finance team standards</li> <li>Provide comprehensive expertise for assigned WHS Sales systems and processes towards team and business partners</li> <li>Establish a close interaction with the WHS Finance teams in the markets to enhance market specific analysis through proper business understanding and guide plan figures </li> <li>Actively shares knowledge within the team and enables dedicated deputy to take over own tasks/ responsibilities</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>Key Relationships:</p> <ul> <li>SVP Global Sales and Marketplace</li> <li>Global WHS leadership team</li> <li>Corporate Controlling Departments</li> <li>Wholesale Finance teams in markets</li> <li>Global Business Development </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Comprehensive business understanding of processes and structure. High degree of customer orientation</li> <li>Ability to manoeuvre in consistently changing environment</li> <li>Ability to operate cross-functionally (omnichannel, sales, brand) and understanding of external business drivers. Thorough understanding of the complexity, interactions and dynamics within an international company</li> <li>Very good communication skills for persuasion and convincing others both internally and externally</li> <li>Ability to think and act strategically and develop operational plans</li> <li>Excellent analytical skills, managing large data quantities from multiple sources </li> <li>Comprehensive understanding of system landscape</li> <li>Business fluency in English (written and spoken) </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>University degree in Finance or Accounting </li> <li>5-10 years related experience</li> <li>Industry specific experience is a plus</li> <li>Advanced excel skills required</li> <li>Familiarity with SAP and BI or other ERP/reporting software preferred</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p>
