We have an exciting, high-visibility Hybrid opportunity for a Global Trade Consent Agreement International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) Audit Manager within the P&W Global Compliance Organization. This Hybrid position will be centered around the East Hartford location.

What You Will Do:

The Global Trade Consent Agreement ITAR Audit Manager will coordinate with RTX and P&W Global Trade organizations to lead P&W support for the ITAR audit under the U.S. State Department Consent Agreement. 

In this dynamic and fast-paced role you will partner and collaborate with business leaders and Global Trade colleagues across the company through all phases of the ITAR audit, including but not limited to, audit preparation, execution, report(s) and post-audit follow-up.

The ability to build relationships, coach and influence peers & leaders, exercise good judgment and work effectively across P&W is critical in this role. 

The selected candidate will be assigned to Pratt & Whitney's Global Trade Audits, Assessments and Corrective Actions team and report directly to the Associate Director, P&W Global Trade Audits, Assessments and Corrective Actions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead P&W’s support for consent agreement ITAR audit as set forth in CA paragraphs 15-17.

- Assist in preparing for P&W’s engagements with and presentations to RTX Global Trade leadership, the Special Compliance Officer, external auditors and U.S. Government regarding P&W’s actions and activities in furtherance of the Consent Agreement paragraphs 15-17.

- Coordinate with stakeholder functions, both within and beyond the Global Trade organization, to ensure full and timely completion of their obligations under the consent agreement.

- Collect and maintain artifacts to demonstrate completion of these obligations and support P&W’s certifications to RTX, the Special Compliance Officer, and U.S. Government.

- Support all aspects of the external ITAR audit including site readiness, logistics, audit request coordination, audit response coordination and the tracking and execution of audit actions.

- Continually enhance and improve P&W’s Global Trade program and maintain a heightened awareness of the RTX Code of Conduct, acting with integrity at all times.

- Build relationships across the RTX Global Ethics and Compliance network and serve as a key point of contact for all Consent Agreement ITAR audit related items.

Qualifications You Must Have:

- Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of applicable experience; OR Advanced Degree and 7+ years of applicable experience.

- Experience responding to audit reports, writing audit reports or conducting audits related to compliance or regulatory requirements.

- Experience working in a cross-functional and matrixed environment, with the ability to drive results based on both authority and influence.

- Experience with MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel and other applicable productivity software.

- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills, with experience in briefing Senior Leadership.

- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access all information necessary to support the ITAR audit.

Qualifications We Prefer:

- Knowledge / familiarity with U.S. Government contracts and EAR/ITAR and export control requirements.

- Experience working in the Aerospace/Aviation industry or within a Compliance function.
