JOB SUMMARY

The Staff Accountant is responsible for managing the accounting transactions in financial systems.  This position reports to the Controller of the Print-On-Demand Division.

FUNDAMENTAL DUTIES:

• Responsible for ensuring accuracy of all cash transactions within NetSuite including cash application, vendor deposits, customer deposits, and deferred revenue transactions.
• Reconcile AR, AP, Vendor PrePaid, IRNB, All Cash Acct
• Responsible for weekly, semi-monthly, monthly consolidated billing to customers
  • Includes Givee invoice processing; Leeds to SPOKE and Givee to Distributors
• Responsible for entering all invoices into Accounts Payable
• Responsible for entering all payments for approval into online banking system
• Monitors Accounts Receivable balances; works with customers to resolve open balance issues
  • Interact with customers regarding invoice questions, layout, detail needed, sales tax issues
  • Process credit card payments, and work with Sales Dept to resolve delinquent accounts

• Manages the sales tax process including the following:
  • Works with customers on sales tax exemptions ensure acceptable documentation is provided and uploaded into 3rd party system
  • Serves as primary point of contact to 3rd party tax processor on issues with state returns, payments, and technical issues
  • Reconciles sales tax liabilities by state to NetSuite
• Reconciles NetSuite sales transactions to production sub-systems
• Creates and submits batch deposits
• Prepares annual county property tax returns
• Process manual Order Confirmations and Evaluate sales tax exposure
• Review Freight invoices, ensure HTS codes are aligned and accurate
• Responsible for Weekly Treasury Report and Treasury Forecast
• Supports special projects as assigned by Controller
