Fabletics is currently looking for a Remote Senior Full Stack Software Engineer. 

 
Global active-lifestyle brand Fabletics is looking for a Senior Engineer to join the Fabletics Engineering Team. This team is responsible for building and enhancing the e-commerce website that delivers the best online shopping experience to millions of customers world-wide. Want to help grow our customer base? In this role, you will work on parts of the site which focus on converting our customers from leads to subscribing as our VIP members on a nuanced and evolving tech platform. You will work on initiatives related to check-out flows, payment methods, shipping, and work inside & out of our back-end services and front-end architecture.

This position will report to the Senior Manager, Engineering- Fabletics. 
 
What you will be doing: 

• Analyze, Design, Develop, Deploy and Maintain Web Application components and logic in a modern web application architecture based on React.js and Node.js running on AWS infrastructure services. 

• Interact and collaborate with cross-functional teams through the product lifecycle, including development, product management, architecture, QA, and other internal stakeholders. 

• Implement new features with consumer experience requirements at their core. 

• Lead and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards. 

• Maintain best practices and write high-quality, well-documented, maintainable code. 

• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production and non-production environments. 

• Mentor and provide technical guidance to more junior software engineers. 

• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to help drive innovation and development of software solutions. 

• Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical problems in a timely and accurate manner. 

• Actively participate in feature research and feasibility studies leading to rapid prototypes. 

 
What you can bring: 

• 5+ years software engineering experience within a large-scale and highly available environment. 

• High proficiency in modern JavaScript and libraries/frameworks. 

• Proven proficiency with web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and CSS-in-JS libraries such as styled-components. 

• Proven proficiency building React or React-based (ex. Next.js) and Node applications. 

• Experience with building applications that consume data from microservices and RESTful APIs. 

• Proficient understanding of build & package management tools such as NPM, Yarn, Webpack, etc. 

• Experience with the complete development lifecycle, from requirements to design, implementation, testing, optimization, and release. 

• Experience with continuous integration and delivery using tools such as Jenkins, Circle CI, Bitbucket, and Github. 

• Experience with implementing pixel-perfect UX/UI in front-end engineering using tooling and software such as Figma and Storybook. 

• Experience with application profiling and monitoring tools such as Sentry, Site 24/7, New Relic, and JMeter. 

• Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL databases. 

• Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. 

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 

• Strong verbal communication skills. 

• Experience with JIRA and/or equivalent project management software. 

• Demonstrated ability to mentor and provide technical guidance to junior software engineers. 

• Strong Computer Science fundamentals in design, data structures, algorithms, problem solving and complexity analysis. 

• Eager and adaptable to change, ability to work with little guidance and direction, ability to navigate complex systems with ease. 

• Passion for maintaining high quality standards, self-motivated, a fast learner, and a drive to research and innovate. 

• E-Commerce experience (a plus). 

• Familiarity with ColdFusion (a plus).
