Job Description Summary
The Nuclear Fuel Sales Account Manager will have broad accountability to drive the success of the GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear (GVH) Fuels business (Global Nuclear Fuel) through commercial sales and relationship management. This role will be directly responsible for opportunity development through order closure with assigned strategic customers. The role will also partner with the Global Nuclear Fuels (GNF) operations, product and business teams as well as the GVH Nuclear Services Account Managers to develop customer specific short and long-term commercial strategies. Additionally, this role will support long-term planning and contribute to the overall business strategy.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
In this role you will:
- Formulate and execute nuclear fuel and fuel related service proposal strategies, negotiate sales agreements, pricing strategies, and commercial risk mitigation concepts for complex multi-year contracts
- Engage with GVH and GNF senior leaders and provide sales expertise in support of our GNF business activities
- Work with customers to determine appropriate nuclear fuel product and services solutions in a coordinated manner with GVH product lines that increase wallet share across GVH
- Cultivate long-term relationships at all levels of our customer’s organizations to progress nuclear fuel related orders and manage high level issue resolution
- Achieve or exceed sales targets and pipeline growth targets by executing strategic account plans for relevant products and services
- Contribute to defining and implementing marketing and commercial strategies to increase orders volume, scope and maximize profitability for relevant products and services
- Support the design and deployment of scalable and repeatable processes to simplify customer opportunities globally
- Keep GVH leadership team up to date on market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to inform sales and business growth strategies.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
- At least 5 years of nuclear industry experience in a sales position, services delivery role, plant operations or plant maintenance role.
- Demonstrated understanding of nuclear fuel fabrication, core reload designs, nuclear fuel cycles and/or nuclear facility operations.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Ability and willingness to travel to customer facilities on a regular monthly rhythm and up to 50% of the time during key negotiation cycles.
- The preferred location is Wilmington NC at the GVH Headquarters but highly qualified remote candidates may be considered. Relocation assistance provided.
- GVH will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening. Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in business administration or related engineering discipline
- Demonstrated sales funnel management, along with contract terms and long-term agreement negotiations
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, experience in Lean and developing standard work
- Excellent communication skills: experience working across multiple levels, functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex sales information in a clear and concise manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing
- Demonstrated Program/Project management skills
- Clear thinking / problem-solving: successfully led cross-functional negotiations, projects and process improvement within sales functions; able to quickly grasp new ideas
The base pay range for this position is $128,000 to $170,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
