About the Role

​The Senior Data Analyst will support data migration using the clients bespoke service tools as well as provide reporting, metrics, and information management initiatives for a global security team. The Senior Data Analyst will create queries, sort, and assess large volumes of data utilizing the clients software analytics services as well as SQL, Python and Tableau. This data supports multiple security divisions by providing trend analysis, process improvement, and various analytical requirements in support of corporate and employee security and safety. The Senior Data Analyst will also drive architecture and deliver custom solutions on the clients software platform with a specialized focus in analytics and warehousing capabilities with experience in virtualization, migrations and automation.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Run and modify SQL queries to generate lists reports in Tableau
• Manipulate data with SQL, Tableau, Excel
• Perform ad-hoc reports and analysis
• Develop processes and simple data pipelines to improve reporting efficiencies
• Collect, archive, and review data from a variety of open and proprietary sources
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to ingest volumes of data, policy, and program points
• Manage data sets in use by security analysts and operators, including facility and employee data

​Note: A working knowledge and application with SQL, Tableau, and Redshift is a requirement for this position

Qualifications

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Minimum

• Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in a relevant field
• Experience using software such as Redshift, Athena, Kinesis amongst others
• Strong understanding of cloud computing architecture, technical design and implementations
• Be able to determine business requirements, priorities, define key performance indicators (KPI), and develop business intelligence and data warehouse strategies
• SQL, Python and Tableau experience, with the ability to create ad-hoc queries for various purposes
• This role is highly technical, must be able to write SQL queries, do analysis, write
• reports, generate data and identify problems within data sets
• Superior proficiency with Windows-based computers, and strong technical acumen with the ability to integrate multiple travel and risk management platforms
• At minimum, working proficiency in SharePoint, Excel, and other Microsoft Office programs
• Capable of learning quickly in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to work independently and within a team
• Exemplary critical thinking, analytical skills, and judgment

Preferred

• Familiarity with intelligence analysis tools, and tradecraft
• Familiarity with Notebook, D3, Salesforce, and related PSIM tools
• Familiarity with Lenel or C-Cure
• The ability to build high quality dashboards based on SQL extracts from Lenel will be a major focus of this position
