Information Security Tech Lead Analyst

Citibank, N.A. seeks Information Security Tech Lead Analyst for its Fort Lauderdale, FL location.

Duties: Provide vulnerability assessment/penetration testing services to Citi businesses globally through a comprehensive testing process. Participate in special projects ranging from rush testing of critical components to architecture reviews with sister teams. Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for Infrastructure Penetration Testing in cross-functional efforts/projects. Participate in the enhancement of testing processes and methodologies. Identify weaknesses and vulnerabilities within the system, exploit them and propose countermeasures. Participate in validation of the overall security of critical infrastructure components and applications to ensure they comply with internal policies, security architecture best practices, and industry standards. Scan systems and applications and leverage initial results to build and execute a subsequent attack methodology. Report information security vulnerabilities to businesses in an actionable manner. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Industrial Engineering and Management, or a related field, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation providing vulnerability assessments and penetration testing services. Employer will accept two (2) years of related experience as meeting the Bachelor’s degree requirement. A minimum of three (3) years of experience must include: Working with network architecture and network communications and identifying associated Security implications; Hands-on experience working with attack surfaces presented by edge-facing assets (infra and/or application); Performing scripting activities utilizing Python and Bash in the context of security tooling and similar projects including vulnerability scan parsing and automation of testing techniques; Utilizing penetration testing toolkits including Kali and associated tools including Nessus or Burp; Performing enumeration and analysis of security posture against infrastructure deployments leveraging industry best practices and tooling (i.e. NMAP, MassScan, Scapy etc.); and Working with lateral and vertical privilege escalation/movement. 40 hrs./wk.
