Manage attorney calendar and assist in meeting deadlines


Screen attorney incoming calls


Manage all incoming mail; prepare and edit outgoing correspondence


Assist with drafting, proofreading, redacting, and editing various documents


Conduct conflict checks through the LMS system; prepare expense reports


Prepare and compile real estate closing documents


Coordinate conferences, meetings and appointments for attorneys and clients


Communicate with clients, court, and attorneys


Process monthly client billing, attorney time entry, and general office responsibilities


Support E-file all court documents in state and federal court


On site attendance as required for this position

Other Duties/Responsibilities:


Maintain attorneys’ client files


Perform other administrative duties as assigned in support of attorneys.

Working Conditions:


Employees will be working inside a temperature-controlled office building.

QualificationsRequired Skills/Abilities:



Self-starter able to work independently as well as part of a team


Excellent prioritization and time management skills to meet strict deadlines


Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral


Proficient with MS Office Suite, including advanced use of MS Word


Proficient in the use of document management systems (iManage preferred)


Excellent organizational skills; very detail-oriented


Strong client-first work ethic


Strong attention to detail



Education and Experience:



Legal assistant experience, preferably working in a Real Estate practice group


Associate degree or equivalent of business experience a plus


Microsoft Office Suite



Physical Requirements:



Ability to sit for prolonged periods


Ability to operate office equipment (keyboard, copy machine, etc.) for prolonged periods


Ability to move about to access file cabinets and office machinery


Ability to lift fifteen pounds or more



Essential Cognitive Functions:



Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing


Ability to read and interpret documents, reports, and other written materials


Ability to analyze a problem and suggest potential solutions


Ability to focus on a task despite frequent interruptions
