Job Description

Our Monetization Strategic Finance team is seeking a highly strategic, analytically driven, and collaborative individual to lead the LinkedIn Sales Solutions (LSS) Strategic Finance team as the Sr. Director of LSS Strategic Finance. In this role, you will operate as a member of the LSS Executive Team, partnering with the respective Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering leaders to develop the vision for, set the strategy of, and operate the LSS business. Your team is responsible for driving growth strategy, building the financial plans / forecasts, performance managing key marketplace drivers / metrics through reporting and insights analysis, and managing key initiatives / strategic projects across the LSS business.
This role is highly cross-functional, requiring this leader to leverage insights / data / internal & external trends to influence organizational decision-making. The ideal candidate needs solid business acumen, and the ability to identify, prioritize, and implement high-impact strategies to drive growth. In addition, the ideal candidate will be passionate about the evolution and impact of tech on the future of the sales role, sales organizations, and sales intelligence tooling more broadly, as well the future of LinkedIn specifically.
Responsibilities
- Identifies, assesses, and coalesces growth opportunities into novel strategy recommendations for the LSS business
- Deftly communicates critical insights, analyses, and recommendations to both xFN LSS Exec partners, as well as the LinkedIn Executive Team, to impact strategic decision-making for the LSS business
- Owns overall P&L planning, forecasts, and performance management for the LSS business; reviews forecasts, analyzes risks and opportunities, and anticipates effects of internal/external metrics trends on the LSS business
- Provides thought leadership and communicates implications of work (e.g., forecasts, analyses, trends) and necessary context to executives and senior leadership to shape the direction of the LSS business
- Drives xFN alignment on LSS strategic questions and decisions by synthesizing problems, assessing trade-offs, and detailing implications for respective decisions
- Oversees and drives the development of multiple large and complex workstreams, projects, or operational processes that spanning multiple functions, potentially across LOBs or Marketplaces
- Proactively shapes the culture and values of the organization, including people development and diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field AND a minimum of 12 years of experience in finance, finance accounting, management consulting, investment banking, or related field OR equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 6 years of people management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- A minimum of 9 years of people management experience.
- 10+ years of experience in the technology industry.

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $207,000 to $337,000.
Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
