Our platform is an essential piece of the daily work for machine learning engineers, from academic research institutions like FAIR and UC Berkeley to massive enterprise teams including iRobot, OpenAI, Toyota Research Institute, Samsung, NVIDIA, Salesforce, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Lyft, and more.
As the Director, PBP and Programs you’ll work to enhance leadership capability across the organization, develop exceptional people processes, and create cross-functional visibility into key processes and timelines. As a senior member of the People team, you have a "roll up your sleeves" approach to solving problems and driving results. You understand Weights & Biases business model and bring a unique perspective that helps leaders build and grow high-performing teams. You will help W&B develop and execute change processes enabling global scale, maximizing productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with GTM managers and leaders globally to develop and implement effective People policies and practices.
  • Lead core People programs such as performance management and engagement programs for our global team.
  • Provide expertise and guidance regarding compensation, performance management, employee relations, growth and development, and organizational design.
  • Collaborate and provide strategic insights and guidance regarding organizational and people-related strategy and execution.
  • Partner with Leadership on talent and people strategies; diagnose and enhance organizational effectiveness, engagement, and retention.
  • Help create, analyze and interpret people metrics to guide decision-making and provide proactive solutions to the business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Leaders to champion and accelerate a culture of excellence in which people feel engaged and inspired to deliver top business results.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 of experience in people roles, minimum of 5 as a people partner.
  • Relevant experience building and improving company culture at a high-growth tech company while increasing employee engagement and expertise in performance management.
  • Excellent communication skills, including effective facilitation, listening and writing.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective coaching and facilitation skills and ability to influence colleagues at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong knowledge of HR programs and practices, including applicable state and federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Track record of strategic partnering with business leaders on multi-year company or org-wide people initiatives.
