In your role as a Transaction Lawyer, you will be involved in particular in the work in the areas of competition and antitrust law, dispute resolution, corporate law (M&A) and also in the work of other practice groups.

Your Tasks:

• Coordinating a diverse range of tasks in national and European merger control proceedings
• Research activities and draft pleadings for applications in the context of such merger control proceedings
• Coordinating of fact-finding in antitrust proceedings
• Evaluating documents/evidence in major national and international proceedings in antitrust and civil law as well as in internal audits (E-Searches)
• Multifaceted involvement within corporate transactions (M&A), financing mandates and real estate transactions
• Drafting and reviewing transaction documents (such as confidentiality agreements and powers of attorney) and preparing corporate legal documents
• Due diligence review and coordinating teams in our own offices and international partner law firms

Your Profile:

• Successfully earned a law degree (Wirtschaftsjurist LL.B, LL.M; international law graduate; foreign qualified lawyer etc.)
• Fluent in English (spoken and written) and at least one other European language (German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese or Dutch)
• Knowledge of German is desirable but not required
• Familiar with common MS Office applications
• Beyond that, you manage your stakeholders proactively and you know how to use your organisational talent as well as your interpersonal skills to work well in an interdisciplinary and cross-border team
