About the role
<p><u><strong>Overview</strong></u></p><p><strong>The internship is full-time, for six months, from September 2026. You will be based in Hayfin's Milan office.</strong></p><p>The Private Credit off-cycle internship is an opportunity to experience the culture and atmosphere in the Private Credit Division by taking on some of the responsibilities and functions of a Full-time Analyst for a short period. You will spend your time working across the private credit strategies (Direct Lending, Tactical Solutions and Special Opportunities), building basic skills in financial analysis, valuation, credit analysis while working on a wide range of international transactions across EMEA.</p><p>You will receive on-the-job training and benefit from working alongside experienced professionals on a variety of projects.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Gathering and synthetizing financial and operating information about companies and industries</li><li>Gathering market data to analyse trends and help value companies and price transactions</li><li>Creating investment memoranda and financial models and presenting findings to senior management</li><li>Attending team discussions and client meetings</li></ul>
