Summary
The Senior Organization Development (OD) Consultant serves as a strategic partner, is an expert in change leadership and advises executives, leaders, and colleagues in facilitating and sustaining change. This position is responsible for leading consulting engagements, driving culture change, developing leaders, conducting organization assessments, making informed recommendations, developing and implementing appropriate interventions and programs, and measuring effectiveness in support of the overall business strategy and objectives.

Job Duties

  • Leads stakeholders through the design, development, implementation, and evaluation phases of an organizational change effort.
  • Deploys large-scale culture changes across the network with the goal of ensuring long-term sustainability and behavior change.
  • Collaborates with HR and the leadership team to implement change, integrating into organizational practices including talent management, team effectiveness, leadership and professional development, strategic planning, retreat design and facilitation, and mergers/acquisition integration.
  • Collects and analyzes data to provide systematic knowledge of the organization needed to effectively diagnosis and recommend appropriate interventions.
  • Supports mergers and acquisition integration by ensuring teams are integrated, new colleagues are provided with appropriate onboarding and critical competencies are maintained.
  • Designs evaluation methodology and tools to measure process and program design effectiveness.
  • Research best practices and develops leadership program materials for organization-wide programs.
  • Provides confidential consultation and coaching for leaders and individual contributors to support the development of critical competencies in the area of change leadership.
  • Identifies and acquires necessary resources for program implementation. Prepares budget for programs and maintains records of expenses.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Organization Development, Behavioral Science, Education, Leadership Development, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience within the organization development field which would include change leadership and change management.
  • Systems Change Expert - Systems change leader, culture builder and innovator.
  • Efficient Designer - efficient designer, process consultant, and data synthesizer.
  • Credible Strategist - credible influencer, collaborative communicator and cross-cultural navigator.
  • Business Advisor - strategic catalyst, results-oriented leader, and trusted advisor.
  • Possesses excellent project and program management, organizational abilities, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and use of Learning Management Systems.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Change Models including Kotter, Bridges, and Daryl Conner
  • MBTI - Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Certification
  • Change Management Certification PROSCI


Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
