Field Laboratory Rep./Phlebotomist

Description

This role is a critical part of the quantitative drug testing analysis performed by Dominion Diagnostics. You will be responsible for collecting urine specimens from female and male patients, entering patient information into the electronic requisition form and packaging and shipping all specimens to the laboratory for the purpose of analysis.

You will also be responsible for drawing blood, labeling each sample, entering specimens into our computer ordering system, and for the shipment of specimens to our lab facility in Rhode Island.

• The hours are: Monday, Thursday, Friday 5:00am - 1:00pm

The collector will perform the following duties while delivering superior customer service:

*Collection of urine or blood sample and complete all required paperwork with
patient present
*Take inventory of sampling supplies and ordering as needed
*Maintain a high level of accuracy in all documentation
*Follow HIPAA policies
*Must work efficiently with a team of addiction professionals

Candidates who wish to apply for this opportunity should possess the following requirements:
*Reliable transportation
*2 years of phlebotomy experience
*Nationally recognized certification as a Phlebotomy Technician preferred
*Good communication skills
*Strong customer service skills
*Good computer skills

*Must pass a background check
