Seeking an Aspiring BCBA✨

We have an open spot for a BCBA-in Training at one of Centria's Life Skills Autism Academy locations, NOW OPEN, in Phoenix!

LSAA is a specialized division of Centria Autism, where we provide ABA programming tailored for Early Intervention (children, ages 6 and younger).

The Basics:

  • Title: Behavior Consultant Trainee (BCT)
  • Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year  *negotiable, based on experience, education, training, and skills. (+ monthly bonus opportunity) 
  • Address: 9074 N Black Canyon Ave. Phoenix, AZ, 85051 
  • Center hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
    • Additional time or flex schedules may be needed to maintain performance expectations, meet company objectives, as well as take advantage of resources & opportunities for exam preparation and fieldwork accrual.

Features include comprehensive visuals, perfect for parents, and prediction models to better map treatment plan milestones and drive successful clinical outcomes.

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Completion of -or- enrollment in a Master's ABA program with an accredited university in acceptance with BACB guidelines
  • Documented accrual of at least 500 fieldwork hours in accordance with BCBA certification guidelines from the BACB. (750+ preferred) 
  • 1+ years working with children and autism spectrum disorders
  • Previous supervision experience is preferred
  • Crisis management experience is preferred
  • Leadership experience is preferred 

Our Expectations (with support of a BCBA and Director of Clinician Development)

  • Observe, then Provide clinical oversight to clientele, maintain quality standards, compliance & retention 
  • Develop and Assist in Developing child-specific treatment plans following the principles of ABA therapy
  • Train & nurture your team of BT/RBTs - providing at least 10% supervision to all BT/RBTs. 
  • Coach your team to consistently achieve high performance by meeting objectives, delivering optimal results, adding value, and pursuing continuous improvement.
  • Inspire parents/caregiver involvement in Treatment Plan; aiming to deliver no less than 1-hour per month of parent/caregiver engagement to all clients
  • Ensuring the daily functions of the team are completed by communicating expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results and performance. Identify skill gaps and assist with improvement.
