USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments.

HOW Hardware / Physical Deployment Technician WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Deploys computers and thin clients and uses configuration management tools to automate the deployment and maintenance of secure configurations across the enterprise.
• Coordinates with the customer and maintains frequent and close coordination in the progress/support of installation-related projects.
• Provides installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting support of information systems applications and related peripheral hardware. Installs, configures, and upgrades computer hardware and software.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
• Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience
• Security Clearance Level: Must be willing to Obtain Top Secret with SCI eligibility
• Required Certifications: A+ or Network+ or Security+
• Preferred Certifications: ITIL 4 Foundations; Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST), or CompTIA Server + or Dell Certified Systems Expert (DCSE) or Certified Endpoint Security Specialist (CESS)
• Location: Offutt AFB, NE

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $29.84 - $40.38. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
