We are currently looking for a permanent postion of Senior Manager Purchasing - Machines, Building Equipments & Services H/F for our location Obernai or Blieskastel.

 

 

Duties & Responsibilities

• Mentor Investments & Business Services Organization to lead cross-functional teams using spend data analytics, market research, benchmarks to identify and leverage high value opportunities that deliver sophisticated and sustainable value, operational efficiencies and risk mitigation to the business.
• Incorporate environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) requirements as part of the purchasing activities.
• Drive a high-level performance within a culture of collaboration, whilst focusing on process standardization, implementation of best practices and talent development, including inclusion & diversity.
• Develop, direct, and manage overall purchasing roadmaps for Investments & Business Services and oversee the execution of initiatives – accountable for reporting of purchasing bottom line contributions and target achievements regarding sustainable objective & compliance.
• Develop negotiation strategies & participate in negotiations with vendors on price, delivery, terms, IT system, compliance etc.
• Develop and oversee dedicated organization for mobility services.

 

Qualifications & Requirements

• Degree from an accredited university in business, engineering or supply chain management and more than 8 years indirect purchasing experience.
• Exceptional track record of delivery of value from strategic activities.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate and collaborate across functions, businesses, geographies and disciplines.
• Strong presence and interpersonal skills, with the drive to build effective partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Experienced in managing complex investments projects from initial concept phase until realization.
• Experienced in digital purchasing solutions like SAP, especially SAP Ariba
• Expert understanding of multi-step strategic purchasing processes and strategies.
• Excellent negotiation skills up to executive level with understanding of contractual negotiation, development, and local regulations.
• Fluent proficiency in English. Knowledge in German and French language is a plus.
