We’re looking for a Senior Analyst, Financial Systems to assist with developing a roadmap, building the financial planning solutions at Fivetran, maintaining FP&A technologies, integration with enterprise systems as well as integrated business planning, and partnering with various business owners across the organization to support financial planning and analysis process and infrastructure.

This is a full-time position based out of our US, any state.

Technologies You’ll Use
Google sheets, SQL, Looker, Sigma, Pigment, Datarails, Anaplan, Adaptive Planning, Vena and any other FP&A tool
 

What You’ll Do

  • Assist in evaluating the current FP&A systems, which includes financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting tools. 
  • Develop a comprehensive strategy to enhance and redefine the FP&A systems to align with industry-standard processes and organizational objectives. 
  • Assist in implementing FP&A system enhancements, including defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements. 
  • Lead the integration of FP&A systems with other financial and operational systems to ensure data consistency and integrity. 
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and automate financial planning and analysis processes for increased efficiency and accuracy. 
  • Foster a close partnership and collaboration with business and technology collaborators and processes. 
  • Collaborate with finance teams to understand business requirements and align FP&A systems accordingly. 
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in FP&A systems and processes, proactively identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. 
  • Create ad-hoc financial models and analysis to support specific projects or initiatives. 
  • Continuously evaluate and improve financial models to enhance their accuracy and usefulness. 
  • Manage projects and vendors effectively.

Skills We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, system implementation and process improvement.
  • Strong proficiency in financial planning and analysis software (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Pigment, Vena, any other) and advanced knowledge of Google Sheets. 
  • Familiarity with database management and business intelligence tools is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into meaningful insights and recommendations, dashboard creation for the use of executive leaders.
  • Ability to think both strategically and tactically about business problems while helping craft the story around the business
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and identify innovative solutions to complex problems
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness in all work.
  • Experience working with large datasets and financial systems such as Anaplan

Bonus Skills​

  • SQL knowledge is a plus
  • Prior experience working within SAAS / software / technology sector

This range represents base salary only and does not include incentive for sales roles, equity, or  benefits, if applicable. 


Pay Range$132,000—$165,000 USD
