Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Overview

Business Intelligence Analyst will support BI solutions for end-to-end analytics utilizing tools including SAP Business Objects, SAC and other modern technology BI tools.

Job Responsibilities

• Primarily this is a hands-on technical role, you will be working hands-on on with all SAP Business Objects components, SAC and delivering reporting solutions. 
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and tools like ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) processes.
• Hands-on data analysis with Python or R
• Analyzing data trends, summarizing information, and creating insightful reports using PivotTables and related excel tools. Expect intermediate use of Excel.
• Compile tailored daily, weekly, monthly reports to the business and management
• Report and monitor broadcast and report bursting to the users effectively.
• Strong Analysis for Office skills with good experience on reporting from BW or S/4
• Data cleansing activities to provide clean information to business
• Perform Unit and integration tests on the reports and reconciliation with source systems effectively like data warehouse or application system.
• Proactive identification, escalation, and resolution of issues.
• Ability to perform, ascertain applicability, and apply your knowledge to GLC with new products in the Business Intelligence space.
• Ability to perform multi-tasking and embrace lean working environment with minimal supervision bringing in the ownership culture.
• Ability to understand complex business problems, identify root causes, and recommend data-driven solutions.
• Strong appetite to learn and adapt to the evolving BI tools and apply on Job appropriately. 

Required Education and Experience

• B.S. degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other relevant field. 
• 3-5 Years of experience in Implementing and support SAP reporting services using BOBJ and SAC stack of tools.
• In-depth understanding of Data warehousing concepts and Databases.
• Working experience in WEBI, Analysis Office, Query Designer
• Exposure and working knowledge in SAP, BW, and ABAP is must.
• Strong teamwork approach to problem solving with the ability to make sound, independent decisions based on functional expertise and experience.  
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, troubleshoot and problem solve beyond routine issues.
• Modern Data analysis using Python or R programming.
• Intermediate level use of Excel.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Exposure to ERP systems.
• Experience in a related field like Finance, Manufacturing operations, Supply Chain Operations, or Sales.
• Working experience with Snowflake, Qlik Data Integration, and Power BI.

Working Conditions

• Work is performed in an office setting.
