Warehouse Associate 2nd Shift

What is the position?

The Warehouse Associate is an integral part of the supply chain process. The role will support our operation in a cross-functional setting. This position requires a safety mindset, a can-do attitude, and the ability to work in a team setting. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail and the ability to solve problems on the fly.

What will I do? 
Pick, pack and ship products.  Kit materials into boxes, cases, and packaging.   Handle and identify material.  Daily follow-up of all warehouse related functions, including housekeeping.  Cross- train in other departments.   Help new people learn the ropes (because everybody had a first day at some point, right?).  Other duties as assigned.   

We have both first and third shift positions available.  This position starts at $17.16 per hour.

What do I need?  

Must understand directions and follow through.

Basic math skills including counting.  

Ability to stand, squat, bend, lift and lean for shift.  

Must be able to lift 30 lbs unassisted.  Over 30 lbs does require a lift device or help from a colleague.   

What extras could I have?  

High school diploma or GED are preferred, but, not necessary.  

Prior warehouse or operations experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position may exert up to 30 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to grasp, finger, lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.  Incumbent will be required to perform dynamic activities including reaching and stretching, as well as, frequent bending and twisting of the torso.
