About the role

Audubon is currently seeking a Survey Supervisor to join our team.  The Survey Supervisor will report directly to project manager, oversee and coordinate daily field crew activities.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assign, direct and monitor field effort of survey crews from field to office
  • Coordinate the field crew schedules with the office project manager, client representative and construction personnel
  • Check the quality (accuracy, thoroughness, clarity) of field data, quantities and daily progress reports of pipeline project
  • Prepare for and lead daily staff and safety meetings.
  • Prepare daily construction reports for signature and approval
  • Effectively communicate with the Client, contractors, inspectors and Project Manager on a daily basis
  • Evaluate resumes and make recommendations for hiring staff, performance evaluations, salary decisions and disciplinary actions
  • Set direction, priorities and allocate resources within a group or project; define job roles, determine work to be completed and make assignments to staff, distribute workload and establish work deadlines; set work quality expectations

 

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Thorough knowledge of Oil and Gas industry surveying practices
  • High School Diploma
  • 10+ years of work experience in Oil and Gas industry as a Surveyor
