What Your Impact Is

As an Assistant Project Manager, you’ll be the backbone of project execution—keeping schedules on track, budgets aligned, and communication flowing. You’ll work closely with project managers, technical teams, and clients to:

  • Coordinate permitting activities for vegetation management programs.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and deliverables.

  • Drive collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to resolve constraints and improve processes.

What You’ll Bring

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, project management, planning, or related field. Or equivalent experience.

  • 1-2+ years of experience in project/program management or environmental project coordination.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-focused approach.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams) and tools like Smartsheet/SharePoint.

  • This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting client deliverables and coordinating across teams.

  • Familiarity with vegetation management programs and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review encroachment permit packages for accuracy and compliance.

  • Support scope, schedule, and budget management for large, complex projects.

  • Coordinate field data collection and integrate findings into workflows.

  • Track deliverables, maintain documentation, and provide status updates to project managers and clients.

  • Facilitate communication between environmental and operational teams.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.

For the Consulting Senior Associate, Assistant Project Manager position, the anticipated annual base pay is $61,299–$75,562 (USD). Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall outside this range. This role may be eligible for bonus pay (casual and fixed term/flex force employees are not bonus eligible).
