What You Will Do 

 

This position will help OSH transition outdated systems to mature and stable technologies, and ensure these systems meet the ongoing operational needs of an inpatient psychiatric hospital. This position will be responsible for general support to develop tools and usage conventions for process standardization and assist end users on an as needed basis. This will require expertise in requirements capture, supporting non-technical users, debugging, and re-engineering tools and technology to meet the operational needs of the hospitalThe ability to migrate access database applications to a SQL backend will be a requirement for this role.  

 

Development of Tools and Usage Conventions  

 

Identify common use requirements across multiple operational systems and develop standardized approaches to workflow and information management.  

 

Technologies may include MS Power Apps and Flows, SharePoint Lists, SQL, Python, Node.JS, and others as determined of value.  

 

Inputs may include interviews with subject matter experts, analysis of information flow maps, and inspection of existing processes and tools.  

 

Outputs will include complete designed tools that accommodate hospital operational workflows. Usage conventions will be communicated through user guides, help pages, and demonstration videos.
