Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) organization is seeking a Test Program Manager (TPM) to join our team in El Segundo, CA.  The selected candidate will be responsible for the daily management and leadership of Test Program Integrators (TPI’s) performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Government or Commercial Satellite Systems. This leader provides TPM and TPI support of space systems verification and test activities at the satellite factory in El Segundo, CA.

Position Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage employees performing engineering and technical activities in the areas of Test and Evaluation Engineering
  • Develop and execute project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
  • Acquire resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Manage, develop and motivate employees

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.  An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 5+ years of experience in program or project management
  • 3+ years’ experience building stakeholder and customer relationships

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience with space systems verification and test activities
  • Strong execution, communication and collaboration skills
  • Can demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills

Summary pay range: $138,550 - $187,450
