Job Description
Production Coordinator, CNBC
- Part-time NBCU PEP Casual
- Rate $25 an hour
- Hours and location flexible
- Reports to Production Supervisor of the CNBC Hair & Makeup Department
Responsibilities include but limited to:
- Prepares and processes P-card and expense reports in accordance with established travel policy guidelines; ensures the timely processing of expenses utilizing electronic processes for payment to Corporate credit card for the Wardrobe and Hair Makeup departments
- Review daily broadcasts, track talent looks and produce daily guides
- Coordinate appointments for CNBC Talent
- Assist with product requests, orders & shipments
- Maintain inventory lists and update daily product requests
- Maintain “Pro Account” relationships
- Review and revise vendor lists
- Coordinate schedule changes for staff and freelancers
- Responsible for coordinating staff transportation and maintain weekly reports
- Provide production assistance for special network events
- Performs basic administrative tasks, e.g. faxing, photocopying and filing
- Maintain production calendars
- Travel may be required to auxiliary locations in NYC including NASDAQ, NYSE and 30 Rock
- Provide back up support to department manager
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Knowledge of all basic office equipment required
- Knowledge of photo editing tools, i.e. Canava, PicMonkey, etc.

- Confidentiality - Must be able to maintain department business with the utmost confidentially
- Initiative - Demonstrate initiative by confidently self-starting improvements to office procedures, reports and processes

- Resourceful – If you don’t have the answer, you figure it out. You’re comfortable navigating a complex environment to obtain info
