Senior Technician, Maintenance (Electrician)

As a Senior Technician, you’ll be responsible for conducting a variety of Maintenance activities (e.g., PM’s breakdowns, repairs, rebuilding, etc.) to optimize plant equipment and support the production of quality chemical intermediates, energies and finished products to a pre-determined operations plan. Performs specialized predictive and preventive maintenance equipment inspections; and troubleshoots, plans and installs and / or modifies plant equipment and related systems in accordance with Key Performance Measure, Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety/regulatory requirements, and divisional goals.

Responsibilities:

Fill out and review Permit Cliqs (work permits) in conjunction with operation personnel prior to starting a job.

Ensure all lockout - tagout procedures are followed
-
Locate equipment problem and discuss potential causes.

Recommend practical solutions of technical problems.

Diagnose problems and repair VFD’s, PLC’s, motors with associated controls, protective devices, breakers, fuses, overloads, relays, conduit & cable, transmitter calibration controllers, switches and metrology.

Trouble shoot, assess, inspect, adjust, and make repairs as needed to facility flow, pressure, temperature, and level instrumentation. It includes transmitter flow devices, level controls, temperature measurement.

Perform preventative maintenance tasks, which include but are not limited to, routine calibration, thermography, and ultrasonic testing

Repair damages and defects to equipment as per technical instructions and discuss

High School diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 4 years maintenance-related experience required.
