·Develop scalable, distributed software systems. ·Design, develop, debug, support, maintain and test software applications. ·Write software in Java, Typescript, PHP, and JavaScript.  ·Use scripting languages such as Selenium, GitHub, Salesforce to automate various aspects of deployment, business processes and testing. ·Serve as a technical expert for project teams for design, definition, and development of front-end components, communicating with our service layer via REST protocols and our data sources including other teams within the company as well as external, third-party APIs. ·Work with product owners and project managers to intake new features and entire new products. ·Identify scope issues, dependencies and help the team prioritize workload.·Improve code quality through writing unit tests, automation and performing code reviews. ·Steer code reviews with engineers to coach good practice and improvements. ·Lead the triage and debugging of applications, including production issues.·Create after action reports and develop comprehensive test plans with the QA team and other developers.·Provide infrastructure (AWS and Google Cloud Platform) support for the team’s applications.·Administrate applications in the cloud such as AWS EC2, S3, AWS Secrets Manager, Kubernetes, Terraform Cloud and Google Cloud Platform counterparts.·Provide DevOps support, debugging and operating servers, instances and serverless applications in Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform.·Tools used: Java, TypeScript, PHP, Javascript, Github, Salesforce, REST APIs, Spring, React, Cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud), New Relic, Splunk, Papertrail, Experience Management Software (Gainsight/Qualtrics).·May telecommute up to three (3) days per week from within commuting distance of the Florham Park, NJ area, as feasible.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field and three (3) years of experience (with Master’s) or five (5) years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience (with Bachelor’s) in the job offered or a related full-stack software engineering role.
  • Prior experience must also include three (3) years of experience with: designing and developing software as a service (SaaS) applications using one or more object-oriented programming languages such as Java or C#; REST services development for ecommerce products using JavaScript, PHP, and Java; configuration management using Jenkins or Python Salt Stack Automation; Integrating with Cloud data providers such as Salesforce.com APIs; Enterprise software development in the following Java frameworks: Spring and Spring Batch; providing technical guidance to junior developers and conducting code design reviews; source control using GIT; using software engineering best practices and solution architectures including Responsive Web Design, Single-page Application Design, Component Libraries, RESTful API Development, Feature Flags, and SOLID/DRY principles; and using performance and observability tools such as New Relic, Splunk and Papertrail.
  • Prior experience must include two (2) years of experience with: building front-end UI components in React or similar Javascript framework; deploying applications on Cloud Platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure; FinTech Platform APIs such as PLAID or Yodlee; and product experience management software integration such as Gainsight or Qualtrics.
  • May telecommute up to three (3) days per week from within commuting distance of the Florham Park, NJ area, as feasible.
