BeiGene takes the approach that access to life-changing medicine sees no borders, and GTS affects this perspective by delivering a cloud-based backbone and SaaS systems for efficient delivery, growth, and maintenance, while positioning our staff to demonstrate their domain, technical, and governance expertise as partners of the BeiGene global team.</p><p></p><p><b>Introduction:</b></p><p></p><p>The Senior Manager, SAP Finance is a critical role to ensure the support, sustainment and growth of the SAP  Capabilities at BeiGene. The candidate must have SAP Finance  expertise as a core skillset with a strong understanding for the cross functional dependencies of other modules/processes into Finance. The SAP Finance Solutions Manager will manage, support and improve capabilities within SAP while engaging with various stakeholders globally for processes and integrations. A strong understanding of SAP FI is required with particular emphasis on the ability to hands on work in configuration, navigate &amp; advise the end to end processes within Finance. Key areas of focus would be enabling entity core capabilities, intercompany reconciliation, tax code setup, AP, AR, statutory reporting and month end processes. This candidate would be developing/executing enhancing capabilities in partnership with business stakeholders and partner with other GTS solution managers handling all aspects of the solution lifecycle, business engagement  and audit.<br/><br/><b>This role has a hybrid work pattern, 3 days in the office and 2 remote, and will be based out of our new office in the city center of Warsaw</b></p><p></p><p>The <b>Senior</b> <b>Manager, SAP Finance Solutions</b> of GTS G&amp;A functions is expected to:</p><ul><li>Work with business leads to seek out, develop, and help implement strategic initiatives for improved efficiency and productivity</li><li>Research solutions (process, technology, data) to evaluate deficiencies and identify areas of improvements</li><li>Build/Define/Improve business processes for the SAP Finance + cross functional capabilities</li><li>Gain project management experience across planning and execution phases of initiative</li><li>Serve as a solution owner for a dedicate application/ business process area</li><li>Adhere to audit standards for the applications supported</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Essential Functions of the job: </b><br/> </p><p>As a SAP Solutions Senior Manager, you will gain exposure to a variety of enterprise solutions and business groups helping drive alignment of internal process with targeted solution initiatives. You will be:</p><p></p><ul><li>Accountable for certain solution aspects, operational run and future improvements</li><li>Liasson with business and other solution managers to develop the appropriate roadmap of activities including operational support, minor/major changes and new implementations ensuring alignment back to the global blueprint</li><li>Facilitate discussions on Finance processes, month end, intercompany reconciliation, data setup, and integrations, utilizing system capabilities</li><li>Have strong hands on working knowledge of SAP Finance with specific expertise in General Ledger, Parallel ledgers, Currencies, AR, AP, Month End Processing, Intercompany Reconciliation, FX, Tax setup/reporting, Statutory Reporting and Fixed Assets. Strong cross module integration on dependencies and capabilities required with OTC and PTP.</li><li>Ability to lead SAP Finance general discussions for designated solution areas</li><li>Engage in cross functional discussions for processes &amp; integrations</li><li>Explore areas of less familiarity to help strengthen BeiGene’s solution maturity</li><li>Gain exposure to technical business processes, developing forward-thinking systems prototypes that promote increased efficiency and productivity on multiple levels</li><li>Maintain and improve management plans for projects, with attention to transparent communication at all levels</
