Purpose

The Research Engineering/Scientist II (RESA II) is a short-term position in Ho Lab's that will support the Biomeidical Engineering Department in systems neuroscience.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute experiments

  • Analyze and model data

  • Manage undergraduates

Required Qualifications

  • Master degree or Bachelor's degree in related field and 2 years of relevant experience

  • Expertise with human neuroscience

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in neuroscience

  • 2 years of relevant post-graduate experience

  • Expertise in animal systems neuroscience

  • Expertise in neural data analyses

Salary Range

$40,000

Working Conditions

  • Typical office environment including work at a desk for long periods of time

  • Animal handling

  • Animal surgeries

Work Shift

  • Standard business hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • Work outside of normal business hours may be required on an occasional basis during peak times (if applicable)
