SpyCloud is on a mission to stop criminals from profiting off stolen information. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, Portals. The ideal candidate has professional experience working as a full stack developer on customer facing frontend products and supporting backend systems. This is a remote role supporting a hybrid workforce in an estimated 40 hours per week.

We are looking for a passionate developer who can join our Portals Team and contribute to expanding our latest front-end products and platform stack.

• Python (we use FastAPI, among other things)
• React / Remix
• MySQL, DynamoDB, Redis, ElasticSearch
• Linux
• AWS (EC2, RDS, SQS, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, and much more)
• Auth0
• Terraform

What You WIll Do

• Help design, develop, deploy, and test new frontend and backend products and features as part of the Portals Team.
• Take on full product roadmap items and be able to deliver high quality results on time.
• Participate in a fast-paced environment.
• Adopt existing team practices and recommend improvements as needed.

Your Skills and Experience

• At least 5 years of professional experience delivering high quality production software
• Strong working knowledge of a high-level language such as Python, Ruby, Java, etc. 
• Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming
• Experience with a relational database
• Experience with a NoSQL database
• Experience with front-end development (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React)
• Experience with an MVC web framework (e.g. Django, Flask, Pyramid, etc)
• Experience building REST APIs
• Experience with AWS
• Experience with Linux
• Experience with Bash scripting
• Experience with a version control system. We use Git.
• Preferred but not required experience with Terraform.
• Preferred but not required experience with Auth0.
• Excellent communication skills
