As a Principal/Sr. Principal Systems Engineer, you will be developing systems using current technologies and others yet to come. We are seeking team members who have a thirst for knowledge, approach each day with optimism, and have a relentless drive to solve complex problems. What you’ll get to do:

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Be responsible for the hands-on integration and test of individual antennas, phased array antennas, RF circuits, passive RF components, and RF systems

This requisition may be filled at a higher job grade based on the qualifications listed below.

This requisition may be filled as either a Principal or Sr. Principal Systems Engineer.

Basic Qualifications for a Principal Systems Eng:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and a minimum of 5 years of hands-on RF test experience; 3 years with a Master's degree; 0 years with a PhD
  • Hands-on experience using commercial test equipment (i.e., vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, power meters, signal generators)
  • U.S. Citizenship and a U.S. Government Secret Clearance (or higher) at time of application is required
  • Be available to travel OCONUS for 90 to 120-day increments (up to 50% annually)

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and a minimum of 8 years of hands-on RF test experience; 6 years with a Master's degree; 4 years with a PhD
  • Hands-on experience using commercial test equipment (i.e., vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, power meters, signal generators)
  • U.S. Citizenship and a U.S. Government Secret Clearance (or higher) at time of application is required
  • Be available to travel OCONUS for 90 to 120-day increments (up to 50% annually)
