Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a full‑time Quality Analyst to support team members in resolving processing issues, maintain critical databases, and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives. In this unique role, you will also support Receiving Inspection at the Space Enterprise level, giving you exposure to the entire Space Line of Business. The successful candidate should have experience or knowledge in customer service, data mining, and the ability to interpret drawings and blueprints, along with strong verbal and written communication skills. Because the position is located at a facility that requires special access, U.S. citizenship is essential. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, eager to enhance processes, and interested in contributing to aerospace quality operations.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Data Science , Supply Chain, or related field or experience.
- Ability to use Data Mining tools (such as Tableau, Excel, PowerBI, Python, etc.)
- Must be proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
Desired skills
- Knowledge and use of SAP or similar ERP
system
- Dashboard development & maintenance: Proven ability to create and sustain live‑data source dashboards using tools such as Tableau, TIBCO Spotfire, SAP BusinessObjects/ERP, or similar platforms.
- Basic programming: Familiarity with entry‑level coding and scripting (e.g., Python, R, SQL, or JavaScript) to support data manipulation, automation, or integration tasks.
- Technical comprehension: Ability to read, interpret, and apply detailed work instructions, drawings, schematics, sketches, specifications, and applicable standards.
- Data mining & analysis: Experience extracting, cleaning, and analyzing data sets, with a particular emphasis on visual analytics in Tableau (or comparable BI tools).
- Leadership: Demonstrated leadership experience, including guiding teams, overseeing projects, and fostering collaboration to achieve objectives.
