Job Summary: The principal duties of this position are to operate and set-up all conventional types of shop equipment and read and interpret work instructions and figures to repair turbine engine components. 

This is a 1st Shift position: Monday – Thursday 5:00 am – 3:30 pm

What You Will Do:

• Perform repairman duties to accomplish repairs to engine components and accessories including drilling, faster removal, blending, installation of inserts, and silicon repairs. 
• Utilize common hand tools as well as a wide variety of tooling and fixtures to assemble/disassembly and test a jet engine.
• Ensure all phases of assembly/disassembly as specified by work instructions, comply with required self-inspection or peer inspection of critical processes ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Monitor and ensure processes meet Safety, Quality and Delivery objectives.

Qualifications You Must Have: 

• HS Diploma or GED
• 1+ years’ experience in aviation mechanic role or appropriate technical training (ASE certification or military equivalent)
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• A&P License or 2+ years’ experience in turbine engine overhaul, inspection and repair
• Experience using precision measuring instruments (Vernier calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Experience using Microsoft Office and SAP

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
