A day in the life:
As an AI/ML Engineer at our fun and innovative company, we're looking for individuals with strong AI/ML backgrounds to support cutting-edge federal missions, with a focus on deploying models in secure environments and building scalable, production-ready pipelines. Ideal candidates will have experience with AWS tools like SageMaker and Bedrock, LLM deployment in air-gapped environments, strong Python and ML framework skills (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow), and bonus points for familiarity with AWS GovCloud or C2S. We value individuals who stay current with industry trends, continuously seek to expand their knowledge, and are adept at troubleshooting complex issues. Effective communication and a collaborative spirit are key, as you'll be working closely with cross-functional teams and contributing to the vibrant and inclusive culture of our organization.What you bring to the table:
All of our cloud engineers need the following skills:- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Oracle, or Google Cloud.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- A TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
- Heavy data science, AI and LLM experience.
- Experience with AWS SageMaker, Bedrock and related services.
- End-to-end model lifecycle management in AWS.
- Deployment of LLMs in secured, air gapped MD customer environments.
- Data preprocessing and secure pipeline automation.
- Advanced Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Familiarity with AWS GovCloud or C2S infrastructure.
- 5+ years of solid software engineering experience.
- AWS Solutions Architect Associate or similar.
- Understanding of distributed systems
