About the role

Job Description

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains valid supply plans based on marketing forecasts for Production and the acquisition of raw materials, components and bulks to meet established inventory targets while ensuring and maintaining targeted customer service levels.

  • Coordinates and monitors the execution of those plans in support of the master production schedule.

  • Responds to changes in demand timing and requirements while minimizing discards. Supports development of business processes to maximize customer service and minimize related costs

  • Works directly with Operations, Quality, and Technology to analyze and resolve problems.

  • Initiates and Performs project work, to improve existing planning and scheduling systems.

  • Takes on cross functional assignments and leadership where Supply Chain involvement is needed.

  • Trains and guides Planners in the performance of their duties.

Education Minimum Requirement:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science or Business OR High School Diploma with 10 Years of Operations, Technology, Quality, Scheduling, and/or other Supply Chain Experience in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Five years of planning and scheduling OR 8 years of line or staff experience in the Operations, Quality, and/or Technology areas. Detailed, Advanced Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • MBA with an Operations Management or Supply Chain Management concentration. Full APICS Certification. Proficiency with WP site processes & systems, especially with SAP.
