Position offers an annual salary of $113,818.

- Daimler Truck North America LLC seeks a Technical Project Management Analyst II out of our office at 4555 N. Channel Ave., Portland, OR 97217. Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the aforementioned office address. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the aforementioned office address. Note, this position requires domestic travel up to 20% of the time. The Technical Project Management Analyst II will support project management activities, including development of concept & feasibility studies within eMobility Group, review of technical product specifications, determination of project timing, analysis of project deliverables against pre-established targets, & evaluation of budgeted resources vs. actual, & present project status reviews to steering committees. Ensure rigorous adherence to corporate product development processes including CVDS & Visual Project Management. Interface with global engineering teams for system-wide project planning & reporting required. Support eMobility product development & strategy with global Daimler entities & stakeholders to support eMobility product development & brand growth. Provide product support & expertise for the electric mobility product development functions. Analyze competitors & market data to identify opportunities & recommend product change. Create reports directed at the management including: product/market need summary, contribution forecasts (price, cost & volume), customer preferences, product definition, long & short-term product trends, competitor analysis/justification, & product component usage patterns. Support global supply chain topics to ensure proper roll-out of electric vehicles at SOP. Manage the development of new product technical requirements from Product Strategy initiatives & drive vehicle-specific performance objectives within Engineering. Broaden expertise outside of immediate responsibilities & become an expert in eMobility topics. Prioritize projects in cooperation with Product Strategy, Sales, Manufacturing, & Quality departments. Translate project list into budget allocation & schedule requirements for Engineering.
- This position requires up to 20% domestic travel.
Knowledge You Should Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering or a related technical engineering field (or the foreign equivalent).
- 60 months of experience in an engineering position.
- Must have experience in the automotive industry. Must have experience with the following Engineering Systems: WEBenics, IMACS+, cPlace, NX, Engineering Client, Release process.
