Job Description
As a pivotal part of our IT department, the Network Engineer II will play a crucial role in implementing, maintaining, and optimizing our company's network infrastructure to support our growing needs. Our ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach to network management and support, addressing both immediate operational requirements and long-term network stability. Experience with a range of networking technologies is essential, with a particular appreciation for expertise in Cisco Meraki solutions.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Implement, and maintain various network infrastructures, focusing on scalability, reliability, and security.
- Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.
- Monitor network performance, ensure system availability and reliability, and provide network optimization recommendations.
- Troubleshoot network problems, outages, and ensure rapid resolution of network incidents.
- Work with the latest network management tools; experience with Meraki Dashboard is preferred.
- Establish & maintain a strong relationship with the business including local, remote, and regional users regarding network technology solutions.
- Document network configuration and operational procedures.
- Establish & maintain healthy working relationships with all technology departments
- Be viewed as a knowledgeable and reliable technical resource across all network technologies.
- Ensure the business understands our service portfolio by translating technical solutions into simple to understandable dialogue
Qualifications
- 3+ years in a dedicated network administration or engineering capacity
- 1+ years’ experience with the responsibility for LAN, WAN & WLAN architectural concepts
- 1+ Years’ experience with Cisco, Aruba and Fortinet technology
- Equivalent experience with alternate firewall, switch or router vendors will be considered
- Experience with service management practices including change, problem, request and incident management - ITIL Preferred
- Experience working within fast paced rapidly growing company
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail with the ability to balance multiple projects at once and maintain documentation and reporting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Information
Pay Range: $105,000-$120,000/yr
