About the Role

Shape the future of performance advertising with Moloco's cutting-edge Deep Neural Network models and advanced bidding systems. We're an engineering-driven company seeking an exceptional Data Scientist to join our Ad Performance DS team, where you'll partner with ML engineers and bidding applied scientists to drive performance and efficiency through deep ad tech understanding, data insights, advanced statistical methods, and robust ML expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze massive raw and aggregate performance data from ad exchanges, mobile measurement partners (MMPs), ML features, and internal systems.
• Design and apply advanced statistical and ML evaluation techniques to analyze the data and optimize data quality, feature engineering, modeling assumptions, and optimization and evaluation criteria.
• Partner with ML Eng and Bidder teams to design and deliver impactful data-driven solutions.
• Craft and run A/B tests to validate new features and strategies.
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders through captivating visualizations and dashboards.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and advancements in ad tech, data science, and ML, constantly innovating our DSP platform.
• Foster data-driven decision-making across teams, including product management, ML and Bidding engineers., in partnership with Metrics, Experimentation, and Ads Ecosystem (Supply and MMP) DS teams.
• Mentor and guide junior data scientists, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.

Basic Qualifications

• Quantitative degree: Bachelor’s, Master’s and/or PhD in Statistics or a quantitative discipline.
• Industry experience: 8+ years of relevant experience (industry or postgraduate) 
• Statistics: Strong working knowledge in statistics and ML fundamentals, including experimental design, hypothesis testing, classification and regression, linear models, model selection, and regularization.
