Bringing Home the Dough
Maintenance technicians perform scheduled as well as unscheduled maintenance tasks. They must possess strong electrical and mechanical skills in order to support production in maintaining an efficient operation. Maintenance technicians must have the aptitude and desire for continued training because of on-going technological improvements.
Should have good mechanical and electrical aptitude and be proficient in troubleshooting both.
Maintenance Technicians must be flexible and adaptable as they will be required to perform job assignments throughout the facility. In addition, it is the responsibility of the technician to contribute to maintaining a safe work environment for themselves and their fellow technicians.
Position requires demonstration of competency for all on-the-job activities that may have a direct or indirect effect on product safety, legality and/or quality.
Position ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures
Position performs other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures
Rising to the Challenge: Position Responsibilities
• Performs assigned preventive maintenance tasks.
• Performs scheduled maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.
• Responds to and corrects equipment stoppage/mechanical breakdown. Troubleshoots (when necessary). Repairs/replaces worn/defective parts, motors, control devices, etc.
• Operates machine shop equipment, hand tools and power hand tools.
• Maintains cleanliness of work area.
• Position required the ability to act as a member of a highly functioning team.
• Practices and complies with a Company policies and procedures including safety and work schedules, etc.
• Performs other duties as directed by supervision
Knead to Know: Preferred Qualifications
Two (2) or more years' experience in hands-on industrial maintenance and/or formal industrial maintenance training
Experience in industrial maintenance, welding, electrical troubleshooting and repairs, PLC programing and troubleshooting, industrial equipment installations and maintenance, start-up repairs, plumbing, etc.

MOBILITY- Ability to move to all production areas of the plant.
Physical ability to stand and perform work for a full shift on a daily basis.
Ability to climb fixed and portable ladders
Ability to stop and bend while lifting weights up to fifty (50) pounds.
Ability to climb onto and crawl under machinery as required.
SENSORY- Ability to view the product at all workstations and determine adherence to quality Control standards (size, shape, color, cut, etc.).
Ability to distinguish color-coded equipment, operating controls, labels, alarms, and signs.
Ability to hear and distinguish audible alarms.
The hearing, vision, and smell faculties sufficient to detect malfunctions in applicable equipment.
