Big Rapids Family Birthing Center offers unique, family-centered maternity care. We have 11 patient rooms that are private and cozy offering a homelike setting. We are committed to providing professional excellence and the best possible experience. We are equipped to stabilize and care for babies who need specialized care. Our advanced technology and specially trained staff are qualified to care for many infant with special needs.

Scope of work
Nurse Technicians act as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Responsibilities include taking vitals, checking blood sugars, bed bathing, ambulating, wound care, catheterization and acting as a safety attendant for patients.
Cleans patient’s environment / work area / equipment and communicates any equipment malfunctions to appropriate department / unit personnel.
Demonstrates a high standard of moral and ethical behavior. Advocates for privacy, confidentiality and security of patient, staff and organization data.

Qualifications
Required High School Diploma or equivalent.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Cert required within 90 days
