This is a full-time salaried position: Monday – Friday, 1st shift.
The Senior Paralegal, Litigation will be a key member of the Legal & Compliance Department, providing direct support to the litigation and employment attorneys on a wide variety of disputed matters. The Senior Paralegal, Litigation will report to the Senior Assistant General Counsel, Litigation. The Senior Paralegal’s primary business location will be in the corporate headquarters in New Jersey.
Our Somerset location is the corporate headquarters for Catalent Pharma Solutions. This location houses our state-of-the-art laboratory, clinical, commercial manufacturing plant for oral dose forms in addition to being the Center of Excellence for Highly Potent Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients.

The Role:
Assist with all phases of litigation including litigation holds, custodial interviews, initial case investigation, eDiscovery, and document production
Liaise with business stakeholders to conduct pre-claim investigations, fact gathering, and document collection
Create, maintain, and organize electronic files and databases
Manage deadlines, coordinate and schedule witness interviews
Routinely update the Legal Department’s matter tracking documents
Manage Catalent’s legal hold process
Draft position statements responding to administrative charges and other employment claims for attorney review
Support internal investigations as needed
Up to 10% annual travel expectations (domestic)

The Candidate:
Associates degree, required; Paralegal Certificate, preferred
Life sciences industry experience, preferred
Minimum of 5+ years of paralegal experience with a corporate legal department and/or law firm
Experience using Microsoft’s Purview eDiscovery tools
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with capability and willingness to become proficient in all of the Company’s matter and contract management systems
Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds
