About the role

NSF is a globally recognized organization for public health standards. We conduct testing, auditing, and certification, supported by accredited labs. Additionally, we provide top-tier consulting and training for brands and businesses. Currently, NSF is seeking an Account Manager II in our Food Equipment division. This role involves being the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring excellent customer service, accurately scoping and quoting projects, and effectively managing those projects through to certification. 

  • Manage client accounts that are medium in impact and complexity
  • Provide education and consultation to clients regarding standards, regulations, and the certification process
  • Primary point of contact for clients and liaison to internal teams
  • Handle requests for new product certifications and provide maintenance and revision services for existing clients and certified products
  • Identify and suggest opportunities for process improvements
  • Manage and maintain documentation and database systems for assigned clients and products
  • Meet turnaround times, revenue targets, and project management metrics as assigned
  • Identify and develop opportunities to grow the business within assigned client accounts
  • Travel to tradeshows and client locations as assigned

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2-5 years of relevant account management or customer service experience
  • Knowledge of NSF/ANSI Dietary Supplements, Functional Foods, Cosmetics and Certified for Sport Standards is preferred but not required
  • Ability to work independently while being team oriented
  • Self-starter with excellent time management and organization skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Relevant experience and knowledge in Product Certification or ISO 17065 is preferred
  • Experience in customer service and managing high-profile clients or key accounts is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
