About the role
Fluidra is looking for a Field Service Technician to join our team in Orlando, FL! WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE In this position you will service all Fluidra products in a timely, accurate and professional manner with an emphasis on customer care while ensuring customer satisfaction. You will also be required to provide training and support of Aqua Products when needed. Additionally, you will:
- Schedule service calls, perform service calls, and manage calls in an organized fashion.
- Educate dealers and pool owners on proper product installation, operation, maintenance and service
- Deliver product training seminars as requested by dealers and Fluidra sales managers
- Instruct dealers on Fluidra’s warranty guidelines and claims processing procedures
- Represent Fluidra at local and national trade shows and seminars, in conjunction with Fluidra sales and marketing personnel
- Work closely with Fluidra sales managers to help promote Fluidra products and services
- Up to 75% travel
- 5+ years of industry experience, in addition to significant customer service experience
- High school diploma or equivalent. Some college education preferred.
- Outstanding communication & presentation skills
- Positive attitude
- Strong technical and mechanical aptitude
- Strong working knowledge of pool/spa operation including significant experience in pool/spa product installation and repair
- Working knowledge of MS Office and email software
- Must take direction well, follow instructions carefully and exercise sound judgment in the course of assisting customers
- Must have clean driving record
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Write routine reports and correspondence
- Communicate & present effectively before groups of customers or employees of organizations
- Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
