About the role
Immediate Opportunities: Full-time Local Class A Lead CDL Truck Drivers
• Earn $31.77 per hour. Overtime after 40 hours, Average $102000 annually
• Weekends off
• Local, home daily
You will drive:
• Late model, Penske Truck Leasing trucks
• Best-in-class specs designed for comfort
• Equipped with inward and outward facing in-cab cameras helping to ensure safety for all
What you will do:
• Assist leadership with day-to-day operations, including mentoring new hires, conducting training and inspections, and covering routes as needed.
• Prepare and assist other drivers with getting set up for the day, ensuring they have the necessary equipment, paperwork, and route information.
• Maintain professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers
• Deliver products using pallet jack safely and efficiently to local stores.
• Communicate with leadership and customers as needed to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Schedule:
• Monday - Friday, 5:30am start time
• Weekends off

Qualifications:
• Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
